For this year’s Charles Simonyi Lecture, Professor Melissa Franklin will talk about her experiences working towards the discovery of the Higgs boson and her work today at the Large Hadron Collider.
Melissa Franklin is the Mallinckrodt Professor of Physics at Harvard University. She will be introduced by Marcus du Sautoy, Simonyi Professor for the Public Understanding of Science at the University of Oxford.
